Use our material guide below for suggestions on the best materials
available for your product to ensure long lasting quality and visual appeal.
Our most common material, it holds up to the toughest elements. It is resistant to water, oils and chemicals making it a best choice overall. We offer several options of BOPP materials, see below for some of the most popular.
Clear BOPP is a water, oil and moisture resistant polypropylene film. It is great for when you want to see the underlying products. This is commonly used with toiletries, cosmetics, beverages and candle labels.
Laminate options:
High Gloss | Matte | UV High Gloss | Soft Touch | Thermal Transfer
White BOPP is great for indoor/outdoor use. The base color is white and can be printed with any color you’d like. This material is tough and long lasting making it ideal for Beauty products, beverages, CBD and Cannabis products.
Laminate options:
High Gloss | Matte | UV High Gloss | Soft Touch | Thermal Transfer
Matte BOPP uses an aggressive adhesive made specifically for cold storage conditions. Examples of these products include: Cold food storage, pre-frozen food packaging, outdoor elements/sub-zero, blast freezing/industrial kitchen.
Laminate options:
High Gloss | Matte | UV High Gloss | Soft Touch | Thermal Transfer
Removable white BOPP uses a special adhesive that gives labels a secure bond that can also be removed without leaving adhesive residue. This material can be used on most surfaces. This material is great for: Inventory labels, temporary equipment labels, labels for reusable containers and cartons, packing slips and shipping labels.
Lamination & Coating Options:

Silver Chrome is a highly reflective material that is water, oil, and moisture resistant. If you are looking for a subtle touch of spot metallic* on your label, this is the choice. Unlike Silver BOPP, it is not recommended for fully metallic labels. *Printing spot metallic requires artwork designed in a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator.

Brushed Silver BOPP has a brushed steel look. It is recommended for fully metallic labels.

Paper materials are great for dry environments. They don’t hold up to water, oil or humidity but they provide a soft touch and visual appeal while helping you stay on brand with sustainability. See below for some of our most popular paper materials.
Our kraft paper is FSC certified and gives a raw, unfinished look that will bring out the character in your label. Be aware that lighter colors may be washed out by the brown color of the material. Kraft paper is not moisture resistant and is best for dry products and environments.

Requires a direct thermal printer. Heat from the printhead activates the heat-sensitive coating on the paper and the areas where the printhead is applying heat turn black. No ink, toner or ribbon is needed to create this sharp and clear image. Commonly used for shipping labels, receipts, tickets, name tags, and more. Available in permanent or removeable adhesive.

Ideal for a wide range of applications, our semi-gloss labels excel in various industries, from retail and cosmetics, to food and beverage. Available in a range of adhesives, from permanent to removable and deep-freeze/freezer adhesives.
Best if used with high-gloss varnish or gloss lamination.
Used with thermal transfer printers & ribbon. When heated, the ink from the ribbon is transferred onto the paper, creating sharp, smudge-proof prints that are resistant to fading and abrasion. Can be used for barcodes or variable text across product labels, shipping labels, barcodes, and tags. Available in permanent or removeable adhesive.
TIP: You can also add a printable varnish or lamination to label materials that are not designed for use with thermal transfer. Please see our Laminations & Coatings to learn more about these types of varnishes/laminations.
This material has an ink jet topcoat for more vibrant colors, a smooth finish and is perfect for those labels with tiny text. It’s best for single use products. This material is great for coffee labels, tea labels and soap labels. Recyclable material.
